King's Ford Infant School And Nursery

'Where everyone matters and every day counts'

Welcome to Green Class!

Welcome to Kings Ford Infants

Hello and welcome to Green class!

Welcome to Green Class!

Our teacher is Miss Carlton and our teaching support assistant is Mrs Carter.

We hope you had a wonderful summer holiday and are excited to start school.

Our topic is “Guess Who”. We will be having lots of fun exploring and linking our learning around ourselves, then using stories and nursery rhyme characters. Through play we will explore all areas of learning. We will do lots of mark marking moving into letter formation, drama and role-play.
In maths we will be exploring and deepening our knowledge of number, shape, and space.
In understanding the world we will explore many themes, already we have had a visit from a fire safety expert to chat to us about the role of firefighters and a Yoga instructor to help with our physical development.
We will have plenty of opportunities to develop our creativity, designing and making skills through various activities and learning songs relating to our themes.
We look forward to sharing our learning with you this term and getting to know you and your families throughout the year ahead.
Please see our topic grid for further learning opportunities.

Our PE session is on Thursday. Please make sure your child has the correct P.E kit in school throughout the term, and their earrings are removed at home and long hair tied up on this day.
Furthermore, please remember to bring, water bottles and book bags to school every day.

Please feel free to contact us if you wish to discuss you child or the Curriculum content and we will be happy to arrange a time to speak with you.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Miss Carlton and Mrs Carter
