Welcome to King's Ford Nursery

We're delighted to welcome families to our newly refurbished nursery, made possible through support from Essex County Council and the DfE's School-Based Nursery Grant. Our bright, spacious learning spaces and outdoor play area have been designed to give your child the very best start to their school journey.

Our nursery is led by a team of qualified teachers and early years support staff who create a caring, stimulating environment where children thrive through play, exploration and discovery.

Nursery Places & Sessions

  • Ages: Children can join us from the term after their 2nd Birthday and 3rd Birthday.

 

  • Session Times:
    • Morning: 8:45am-11:45am
    • Afternoon: 12:15pm-3:15pm
    • All Day: 08:45am-3:15pm

Funding & Entitlements

Universal Entitlement 3-4 years

All 3 and 4-year-olds who live in England are entitled to this offer irrespective of income levels, benefit status, or family circumstances.

30 hours childcare for working families

Eligible working families can apply for 30 hours of childcare

15 Hours for 2 year olds receiving support

For children aged 2 years. 15 hours early learning for families in England receiving some additional forms of support.

You'll need to apply via The Best Start In Life for an eligibility code before starting.

 

Key Dates for Admissions

Parents need to register and obtain a valid eligibility code before their child can start 30 hours of Nursery education.
Parents must apply in the term before they wish to take up the funding.

Term Term Dates Apply by Date
Summer 1st April - 31st August 31st March
Autumn 1st September - 31st December 31st August
Spring 1st January - 31st March 31st December
